Responsible for managing a product category for a product or range
Managing a large portfolio of brands and developing appropriate strategies for each
Create and develop a long term plan and strategy for development of the category
- Plan effective strategies, brand communications, promotional inputs, and exciting campaigns.
- Maintaining formal observation of competitive activity and assessing its effects on the brand.
- Administering the various elements in the marketing budget advertising, production, promotions, product publicity, etc and ensuring it is not overspent.
- monitor the inventory status of the assigned products.
Work alongside customer and national accounts teams to translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance
Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams at corporate office
Conduct regular market visits and provide customer focus insights regarding the product and category.
Manage, control, and implement the approved Annual Marketing Plan of the assigned products.
